Lin Buxton
President, BPW Cambridge and National Coach, BPW Kitchener-Waterloo
Lin has resided with her husband, Ray, in Cambridge for 20 years. She is the mother of four grown children. Lin is presently working as an administrator and owner of First Impressions Consulting. Lin is very active in the community in many volunteer roles.

Mary Balfour
Historian / Archivist for BPW Cambridge
Mary is a life-long resident of Cambridge. She worked for Gore Mutual from 1966-1991 and at Canadian General Tower from 1994-2002, at which time she retired. Mary is active in her community as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Cambridge Library (Galt branch) as well as singing in the Durward Centre Senior's Choir. She is also involved in the women's group and sings in the choir at Trillium United Church.

Rhonda Perks
Served as Secretary for the Cambridge Club and has represented the Club at the International Level
Rhonda has been with BPW for over 14 years and with Alcan for 25 years, most recently as Human Resources Manager/Canada and Manager International Special Projects. Her most recent project brings her to China to assist with the start-up of a manufacturing facility in Tianjin.

Phyllis Hemingway
Past President, BPW Cambridge, 1979 - 1981

In her retirement, Phyllis Hemingway is still very active in her community as a volunteer. Phyllis is passionate about human rights and continues to write letters for Amnesty International. She has been a Telecare volunteer for the past thirty years. Also, she is presently serving as Secretary for the United Church Women's group in Cambridge.

Colleen Smith

Currently serving as International Chair for BPW Cambridge
Colleen's extensive knowledge and experience in writing, speaking and facilitation including live TV, local radio and moderating broadcast debates and election coverage has positioned her as a community leader. In 2000 Colleen received the YWCA's Women of Distinction Award in the category of Women Helping Women.
Currently working on a number of social and business development projects, Colleen continues to support BPW. She is also passionate about the emergence of a new trend - the Slow Movement.
Colleen resides in Cambridge and is Executive Director of Ontario Agri-Food Education.

Elisabeth Clare
Past President, BPW Cambridge, 1983 - 1985
Life Member
In 2003, Elisabeth received the YWCA's Women of Distinction Award in the category of Lifetime Achievement.
Elisabeth is a life long resident of Cambridge. Her kindergarten teaching career spanned over 42 years at Preston Public School.
In her retirement, Elisabeth has been involved with the Retired Teacher's Association as well a number of volunteer agencies. She has been tireless in the UNICEF Halloween campaigns, Preston Meals-on-Wheels program and her own personal Books-on-Wheels. At Knox Presbyterian Church, Elisabeth has been an Elder, Roll Clerk and Sunday School Treasurer. Elisabeth is also diligent in sending cards and letters to those in hospital, the bereaved and those who are ill.

Kay Crawford
Past President, BPW Cambridge, 2004 - 2006
Kay has been an active member of the Cambridge community for over 40 years, and has been assisting clients with their financial plans for over 17 years. Gaynor Horn

Gaynor previously worked for CIBC for 17 years and BMO for 9 years and has a wide range of experience with all types of lending both personal and commercial as well as all types of investments. Gaynor started working for Dominion Lending Centres The Mortgage Advisors in January 2010 to concentrate on real estate and mortgages. Gaynor brings over 26 years of banking experience to assist her clients achieve the goal of home ownership.
